INFRARED TRIP WIRE CONSPICUITY TAPE
Our IR Conspicuity Trip "Wire" and Perimeter Tape is made of strong, woven black two-sided black fabric just 3/8" of an inch wide. The fabric alternates every foot with black and infrared Black Magic Black 3M Engineer Grade Reflective Scotchlite alternating every 12 inches. The Magic Black Reflection alternates on front and back so when "Wire" is twisted between two points (for example between a tree and a car handle), the Wire/Tape looks like a pulsating string of lights to someone wearing night vision gear while being invisible to all others.
The Wire / Tape can be seen as moving from a great distance, which distinguishes it from stationary points of light. This is critical for definate identification of a location from a great distance. Other Tapes that do not pulsate can be easily mistaken from a distance.
